25th Workshop on IRT, 14-16 oktober 2009

The 25th Workshop on Item Response was held at the University of Twente in The Netherlands from Tuesday, October 13 through Thursday, October 15 2009, with a welcoming reception on Monday from 16.00 h p.m. till 19.00 h p.m., October 12.

As this is the 25^th anniversary of the Workshop, we have taken the opportunity to look back at the history of the workshop as well as forward to the future developments in IRT. For this reason we have invited all of our earlier international keynote speakers to present a paper on what they see as key developments in IRT.

This year’s keynote speaker was Wim van der Linden, the founding father of the Workshop. Twelve of the former keynote speakers have presented a paper during the Workshop.
